REAR STABLEIZER JACKS

Can anyone tell me what kind of rear jacks are used on the Montana to stableize the the rear of the fifth wheel if you don't get the 6 point leveling system.

My '06 has the scissor type at the rear corners that are deployed with a wrench after the rig is leveled. They are only hand tightened and would not work as well as the 6 point leveling system. Sometimes these are offered with a motor that extends and retracts them. Again, I think these might save more time than a wrench (I also use a battery operated drill), but these are not as strong either.

Mine are Ultra Fab brand ... a lead screw on an electric motor runs them up and down. They can be manually used if the electric motor fails. My previous Montana had BAL stabilizers that were hand crank only. A crank came as part of the accesory package with the fiver.

Ultra Fab for us and we left them on and use them with the Level Up system that we added.

Interesting, we have the same year same model, and our rear stablizers (electric) are different brands.
