Out of state warranties are not unusual but you are asking about out of country! It probably won't exist. Part of any warranty program includes finding a suitable place for repairs in the event of a problem. I'm guessing that Canada is the only other country that would have qualified locations. I don't even think Mexico has any for Keystone. Europe would be out of the question especially if a "return to the factory" becomes a part of the solution, unless you are willing to pay for the transport, which in your case would probably exceed the cost of the trailer by the time this is resolved. You shipped it to Norway, then it might get shipped back to the factory, then returned to Norway when repairs are done and what if a repair doesn't hold. I doubt any warranty program is going to want to cover that.

The best source to contact would be the Keystone factory in Indiana. I would think it would be cheaper to NOT pay for a warranty, take your chances and learn how to do repairs yourself or locate and pay local sources to perform them.

This is a great question.

I think your questions would be better directed in writing to Keystone. I would also only accept written answers. Jim

I think I would be more curious about the transportation fee to get a rig to Norway than worrying about whether a leak would be covered under warranty. I would surmise that if you are indeed honestly considering this, that a leak repair would be small change as compared to transporting a 7 ton fifth wheel across the Atlantic??

I would think that Norway probably have RV's of some sort. They must have repairmen who are capable of fixing problems if they have the parts. That would be a big problem, the parts. ALL RV's have problems and the more you can do yourself the better. Parts availability would be the biggest problem. Its a long way to ship and lots of time involved. You sound loike you have the right connections for shipping so that isn't a problem. Very much doubt that you would have any kind of warranty out of country. Just my opinion and no way to back it up other than to contact Keystone. Good luck and hope your roads over there can accomodate this size trailer.

With the length of time it's taking me to get some warranty repairs done on my Monty - it just might be faster for me to ship it to Norway for the fix.

1 month and counting sitting at the dealer... Still have not even looked at the rig.

Camping spaces may be a problem. Even here in the US many national parks were built with spaces too small for rigs our size.

if possible for me i would use the unit in the area for at least a month, as a shakedown cruse to find any major issues before shipping, also a used unit more or less might save on any tarrifs.
what type of companies whould ship unit?
consider getting a small stash of parts that we all find useful to take with you?
mikey

i havent check who is shipping this type of trailer. but a friend of mine bougt a ford pick up and a montana in 2008 or 09 here is a picture https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater from canada. he almost ship this rig. but ford norge stoped it.. so he selled the rig and trailar and shipped a 2010 shelby and a used 2009 or 10 mustang GT it was more easy to get licens plate on that.. pick ups in norway die out. because of the tax is abatue 150.000 dollar and a dually will cost abaute 40.000 dollar so a pice 190.000dollar for a work car..hmm no... i newer sell the old truck of mine...
