back up camera ?

i have a kenwood gps nav system in my 2008 f250 i installed when we got the truck. the gps has a spot for a camera to connect my question is can i just by the wireless camera and use my existing monitor for navigation as my rear view monitor. or do i need to buy the whole system and seperate monitor.

Thanks i was checking around and came across tadibrothers rv cams. found a wireless camera and 7 in monitor wireless upto 65ft and ties into the 12 volt clearnac light and the monitor caa be hard wired or cigarette lighter. it also is infrared so it also works at nighttime price around $240.00-$275. for entire set. might have to save some money and ask santa for a spring xmas present as monty is getting ready to hibernate.
