Break away brake battery

Hi, I own a 2012 3750FL. I bought it 2 months ago and I am getting familar with the systems. I've been a boat owner for many years so the plumbing and electrical systems are similiar. I would like to know if there is a separate battery to power the brakes in case of a break away or does the power come from the house batteries? Thanks.

As Fire5er says, "house batteries" (the Montana on-board) batteries. The breakaway switch is wired through them. Word of warning, do NOT test the breakaway with the trailer plug engaged to the tow vehicle. It can possibly scramble the brake controller! And, quoting the famous statement made by many....don't ask how I know!!!
