Sailuns are great tires for a fiver. mine have worn well and I have had them for 2 years with no trouble. took a trip up 81 north the road was very rough almost like off roading. No trouble at all. the trailer handled well. throughout the whole trip.

I just replaced my G614's with Sailun S637's, $514 shipped to my house from Simpletire.com via eBay item.
The date code on the 614's was July 2012, bought trailer Sept 2013.

Sailun
I believe that if you look online at rims rated for 110# they will have 8 lugs and 80# rims will have 6 lugs.
Need to get new axels to go 110# if yours are 6 lug

80# on 110# wheels
Just put a set of Sailuns on our 2013 3100RL. It has the 110# wheels on it. My tire guy only inflated the new tires to 80#. I asked why he didn’t inflate to 110# and he said that the weight of my trailer didn’t need the higher pressure. That it would cause it to bounce more. Just got back from 600 mile trip to TN and I must say that my 5’er rode as smooth as I have ever felt it. I got home and noticed one of the tires looked slack. Check showed 55# in it. Inflated back to 80# and it hasn’t lost any in last week. Don’t know what caused the loss in pressure but will keep a check on it. I must say that I am really liking the Sailuns so far. I went with the 235/85R16s and they fit well. I had always run the Firestone Transforces before on both of my Montes and never had a problem.

My 2006 Monty came from factory with 3750 lb 8 hole rims at 80 #. I have two flat beds: one has 6 hole 3200 lb rims at 80 psi and the other has 8 hole rims rate 3500 lbs also at 80 psi. All have 235x80r16s. When I bought my Sailuns I went ahead and bought 8 hole heavy duty rims to run 110 psi. Probably didn’t have to, but It gave me peace of mind. I have less than 12000 lbs on my two 6000 lb axles. Thanks though. I love this forum.

Thanks for all the great tire info. I had never heard of Sailuns until I took delivery of my Monty. Wasn't sure about them especially when Goodyears were offered as an option. Now I'm happily "Sailun" down the road at 110psi. This forum is sooo good.

Sailuns 637
Purchased my Sailuns 637 from Simple Tire here in the DFW area. They had them at my house in less than 48 hrs. Took the wheels and tires to Discount Tire and had them mounted and balance.
I have not had the opportunity to travel like I wanted to this summer due to work but the trip we did take the tires did good. I had no worries. The tires look good and mounted good on my 2013 Montana.
I highly recommend over the Goodyear's that blew the side of my trailer out last November and any other China bombs.

Your inferring that his wheel might break if over 80psi is run in them. I'm curious. If he inflates to 80psi in the morning @ 30*F and drives into Arizona running 65mph in 110*F, will not he exceed the psi rating of his rims?

Max tire/rim pressure are cold pressures vice hot pressure. I believe 60 deg is the temp that is used for standards.

Ok guys need some opinions. Just bought a 2016 HC 353rl. Gonna replace the tires. Has some kind of china bombs on it. They are load range E. Opinions on going with GY Endurance E rated or the Sailun G rated? Will the Sailuns make the 5er ride a little rougher? Just don't want to cause a different kind of problem down the road. Thanks.
