Using the house propane sounds like a good idea to me. I just have not gotten around to doing anything about it. I bought a 5 pound refillable tank and use that for our grill.
I would think the dealer should be able to help you out with a quick disconnect.

We had a 2955rl before our current 3075 and we really enjoyed our travels with it. Enjoy and welcome!
