My wife and I have been full timing since Spring of 2018. Sold or gave away everything we owned. We have camped all our married life in tents, at first, then first trailer in 1981, went through 6 bumper pulls, one fifth wheel and now have a Montana 37ft. for full time. We have been in every state except Hawaii. We would go there if there was a road. We thank God everyday for our life style. We love it. We will full time as long as we are healthy enough to do so. It is a lot less expensive, fewer headaches than owning a home and it's very relaxing.

How long you been full timing? 36 months
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best, how do you rate your experience? 8
How long do you plan on continuing full timing? till they pry steering wheel off my hand.

I didn't realize that. We are so sorry and hope that we didn't upset anyone. Thanks for letting us know...

We have been full timing since 2014 in a class A. April 29th we made the move over to our 2020 3813MS. We just love the change, it feels more like a home with the tall ceiling. We seem to have a Montana with no issues from the factory. Our experiences full timing has been positive on the scale I would say 8. The repairs we had on the class A is what dropped it to an 8. I did most of my own service and most of the repairs myself.
We plan on looking for a sticks and bricks in the next year or two. This will be our winter home and we will continue using the Montana during the summer.

My wife and I sold our house and everything in it March 2018. We've been full timing ever since. One of the best decisions we've ever made.

We have been full time since 5/17 in our 2014 3582 and love it. We are park hosts for TPWD. We have traveled mostly west of the Mississippi, and will downsize to a shorter 5vr for the eastern half.

How long you been full timing?
We have been full timing since 06/2020, so we are newbies.
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best, how do you rate your experience?
10.... We love it. Have already had some ups and downs, but love it!
How long do you plan on continuing full timing?
We plan on full timing indefinitely. Big things would have to happen for us to stop.

We sold our house in 2019. Traded our 2007 - 3400RL Montana for a 2020 3811MS Montana Legacy Pkg. Love, Love Love it! Went to Texas for the winter and came back to Nebraska in April 2020 to build our next house. We are still full time as house is not done. Not liking the cold weather living in the camper. We are physically building the house ourselves. Going through to much propane. While in Texas it was Awesome!! House will be livable by January 2021 so we will winterize the Monty and break it back out in the spring. So my opinion fulltime is Great as long as there is 50 degree weather and warmer. Our lows get down to 18 and it’s brutal. Thank goodness for Tank heaters, heated water hose and 1 1/2 inch thick insulation sheets skirted to keep the belly warmer.

We just crossed our one year anniversary on Thanksgiving as full timers. We are saving for some land to move onto and plan to eventually build a small (not tiny) house to stay in for the rest of out lives.
Want to build a heavily insulated stick house, 2 bedroom, lots of open space. Want something cheap to heat and cool, low maintenance exterior. Until then we are loving our camper, so much less stress than that stupid monster house we were in.
