ac leak

I have a 04 3400 with a second ac unit over the bedroom. i ve had the ac for 2 years now without a problem. recently, the weather was very hot and humid , it began to leak on the bed. I tried backing off the temp control a little and it stopped leaking. is it normal to leak while set all the way on cold?

I have had a problem when the humidity was high. Condensation would collect the vents. HVAC guys can give you a more intelligent answer.

When ours gets damp, from high humidity, we set the fan speed on high, air volume stops problem.
