Refrigerator
We have just installed a 5 cu ft refrigerator in the space built for the washer. You never have enough refrigerator space in an RV so we added one since we don't need the washer right now. We use ours for drinks, fruit, etc.
Anyone else using that space for something else?

For now we use ours for cases of pop and bottled water, shelves are used for storage of misc.items. On the inside wall I have sticky hooks that hold my broom, dustpan and floor mop.

I found a refrigerator at Target (about 29" high) that just fit in the cargo hold. It's nice that Keystone put a electrical outlet and tv hook up there now (2008 3400RL). We keep all the "refreshments" in it. Convenient when watching TV out there (that's another topic).

We placed a 6 bottle wine cooler in that space as well as a sliding rack unit for cleaning supplies. The slot for a wine bottle will hold up to 3 cans of beer if you are not carring a full load of wine. There is a 120v outlet in there for the washer and dryer that we plug the unit into.

We put a small upright freezer in there and storage above. As long as we don't open it when travelling, everything stays frozen.

Made some mods in my Mountaineer and installed a Edgestar 1.5 cu. ft. frig. Ir is a nice unit for our needs. This unit can be used as a freezer or a frig. It has a full range temperature control. The stainless steel door can be reversed. Delivered price was about $160.00. Company also has a 3.2 cu.ft. model
