Rivers End Campground, Tybee Island GA

Ok, I need some advice from the Pros, I have searched & can not find info on the Rivers End CG, I have read it on here somewhere, Is this the best CG in the Savannah area? Any sites or areas better than others? Thanks

Mark and Sharon, that's the only rv park on Tybee Island. There are others in the Savannah area. One that's really nice is the state park. It's essentially within metro Savannah but is a beautiful, treed park. Skidaway Island State Park.

We like Riversend because of the proximity to the beach. Our next choice would be Skidaway Island SP. There are other rv parks in the Savannah area but we've not seen them.

For those that have not visited it lately, Rivers End is under new ownership, with the city of Tybee Island taking it over. Looks like they have updated several of the campsites, and moved the tent camping from the front field, and put in hookups in that area.
We have gone there plenty of times when we had the popup, but never with the Montana. Would love to be out there fishing as we speak!
