2008 2955 rl audio upgrade

Hi all. I want to up grade the audio in our 2008 2955RL. I am looking for something that will fit into the “entertainment cabinet” and will connect to the surround sound system and has Bluetooth capability. Ideas anyone...?

I went with a Vizio sound bar with wireless subwoofer and 2 rear speakers, sounds good and wasn't expensive. might be able to get pictures if you are curious.

The no-name DVD/surround sound system failed in our 2007 3075RL after only about 3 years. Probably like your 2955RL it was located in a small slot in the cabinet below the TV. I measured the opening width, height, and depth and went to Best Buy and found only one home theater system that would fit in that opening. It is a Panasonic Blu ray 5.1 surround sound home theater system complete with new speakers (forgot the model number, but that was years ago and that model no longer made I think). The speakers are slightly large than the originals so I had to enlarge the speaker openings in the cabinet a fraction of an inch each direction. Used the original wiring to connect the speakers.

It does not have the extra outputs for the bedroom speakers, but we never used those anyway. But it does sound so much better than the original.

speakers

We bought this Bose unit from Sams to go in our former RV - and moved it over to the Monte for TV sound bar. It does a very good job. I have not hooked it up to the radio yet...and frankly - we rarely listen to the radio. The FM band is marginal (probably because the little wire antenna is rolled up behind the unit and I have not done the work to unfurl it) - but the AM band is pure static. Pathetic! We have a small portable radio that we use for AM listening.
