Repair damaged black material underneath camper.
Hello. I recently purchased a used 2007 Montana 3400RL and a few days after taking delivery I notice that a repair must have been done to the sewage pipe where it comes out of the bottom of the underbelly. The black tar paper like material around the pip has several huge cuts in it from a probably a razor knife. I tried to do a temporary patch with some packaging tape but was unsucessful. Any ideas what I could use to repair this short of replacing the entire panel? If I did that I would still have to cut it to get it around the sewer pipe but at least then I would be dealing with one staight cut instead of three. The unit is parked full time on a lake lot so I would not have to worry about a patch blowing off going down the road. Thanks

the under belly is ABS plastic you can purchase some flat abs sheet plastic get some ABS glue and do a patch, I did mine with TEK screws so I could remove the under belly if needed

Best solution for a professional fix. Black gorilla tape is another alternative.

Hi
If you use gorilla tape get a quart of lacquer thinner at the same hardware store and clean the belly material with that first ten after it dries use the tape.
