Soldotna, AK - heads up!

We're in Soldotna, and for those of you coming this way, some good news!

Free camping with water and dump facilities in the Fred Meyers back parking lot in Soldotna. 3 day limit in the back lot and 1 day limit in the front lot. Lots of spaces. Lots of folks coming and going. The sites closer to the dumpster are a little wider for those who want to open their slides. You'll see the Freddie on your left as you come into town. Good place to use as a base camp to do a little exploring or fishing.

And there's a Taco Bell right in the parking lot too. No fast food in Seward, but there is in Soldotna!!!

We stayed there twice, going down on the Kenai and coming back. Great people, real nice, great store.

Don't miss the Hardware store down the street, great place to browse.
