The Term DW

I guess I haven't gotten into the text messaging acronyms. What is the term DW? I know I will hit my forehead with a "Duh", but I figure there are others out there wondering the same thing.

I think it's "dear wife" but could also be "devoted wife, dumb wife, devious wife, d@#$ wife, etc etc!

My wife wouldn't let me send what I had typed, so the politically correct term would probably be Dear Wife. Got it. Thanks.

Well I like to think that it means "Darling Wife" at least that is what Walt calls me most of the time.

Shame on you Ron. And here I thought we were friends

CLICK HERE>>>> RV Abbreviations, Acronyms & Initialisms

I spent days and days individually looking up each and everyone of these Acronyms and you never looked. Now my feelings are really hurt. Just wait until I see you at Goshen .

Glenn -

Thanks for the reminder. I am sure I looked at it a long time ago, but my long term memory has become short term. I guess that would be LTM and STM. The auto industry was so full of acronyms that I got sick of them. Now that I am out of the auto industry almost a year, I can handle them again. See you in Goshen. I will have the DW watch the GPS so we won't need ERS while looking for a DS on the way to the CG. Thanks for the memory boost.

Glenn,
Very nice list. I see that there is one that they use as road slang that is missing. G8R - Gator : A recap piece of rubber from a truck tire laying on the road waiting to do some damage to someones rig by running over it. I guess that is why Florida has Gator alley as the heat on the highway makes the tires come apart...

Well, one would hope we would not have a deleterious wife.....
And, if I did, she would not catch me saying so...
