Williams Lake, B.C.
Here we are across from the lake in Williams, B.C. Leaving tomorrow for Prince George. The scenery is just beautiful.

Pam, I'm so glad that you and Bob are able to make such a beautiful trip. I'm jealous! Safe travels!

Are you headed for Dawson Creek and the Alcan, or turning west and up the Cassier Hwy.?

Went through Williams lake about 40 years ago and then west to Anahiem Lake and down the Dean river on an old cordory (sp) road. We were in an old split windshield VW bus.
I've always wanted to go back.
That Highway 20 from Williams lake was called an all weather highway. Here in California we call them dirt roads.
Hope you guys have as much fun as we had.

capn chris, we have passed Dawson Creek and are in Fort Nelson now. We leave tomorrow for Skagway.
Judy, thanks! We are having such a good time. The rig is filthy, but we hosed off around the door and can come and go without getting too dirty.

bob n pam -
Don't miss stopping at Dawson Peaks at milepost 797 in the Yukon. Dave and Caryolyn are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and whether its an overnite in their campground or an afternoon break for a piece of Caryolyn's rhubarb pie you won't be sorry. We spent a week there the last time through.

Pam, I didn't realize that you were going all the way to Alaska. That's awesome. Have a wonderful time. Wish we were going again.

Hope you stop to see the sign forest in Watson Lake?!!! Fun. High Country CG in Whitehorse is a good bet for a stop over before "descending" into Skagway. Steep grade (11%) for many miles. Skagway is neat when the ships aren't there. Take the White Pass train ride if you have a nice day!!! Enjoy!
