Easycare Extended Service Warranty

This question may have been covered elsewhere but I was unable to find it in searching the archives. Question: Has anyone purchased EasyCare's Extended Service contract and can you provide any comments on your experiences either good or bad in using their extended service contract?
thanks.

We do not have that one..however I would suggest you do the following, Ask them to send you a copy of the service contract to review..If they will not do that...run away...Next if they will send you a contract to review. Find out WHO is issuing the contract..Find out WHO the contract administrator is..find our WHO the finanicial obligator is. Read the contract with care and understand what is covered and what is not.
We do have a extended service contract and beleive they are worth the expense.

Rich,
Thanks for your thoughts. EasyCare has been around for quite a while had been owned by Ford and now by APCO see http://www.easycare.com/about-us I have a copy of their contract which covers most components minus roof/leaks/water damage, and frame/skin structure. If members of this forum have experience with them your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I purchased Easy Care and have had only one effort to use it and was totally disappointed. The Monty had the bad Al-Ko axles which resulted in worn tires. Of course, when we discovered the problem and learned about the history of the problem on this website it was 2 months beyond the Al-Ko warranty. Al-ko provided new axles, but nothing for labor or the tires. Of course, Keystone said So Sorry your beyond our one year warranty. Thought Easy Care would step in, but their ansewer was everything was maintenance. Huh! No amount of effort would change their position. I am also disappointed in Keystone and Al-Ko as they knew of the problem, but did nothing to alert Montana owners to deal with the problem before warranties expired. I wonder why?$$$
That's my experience take it for what it's worth.

Thanks Dave and Carla. Would be interested if anyone has had any other experiences with EasyCare, either negative or positive they could share.
