HELP back window fell out

We have a 2013 3100RL. The flimsy bracket for the rear window broke. This is the bracket to open and close the window that is labelled as an emergency exit. We fabricated a replacement bracket. In the process of installing the new bracket..the lower WINDOW FELL OUT. It did not break. But now we can't figure out how to get it back in. This is the emergency exit window, not the big rear window.

There seems to be a lip that works as a hinge, but we have been unable to get the 2 lips to lock together making a hinge. One lip on window, other lip on frame.

The nearest repair place is 90 miles away and its winter here in Northern NV.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this window to hang again?
If we can't figure out how to get these back together, I'm all for glueing the darn thing in. In an emergency I would never fit thru it..

Isn't there a screw in each end of the half circle lip on the fixed rv portion? Remove one slide window in place, put screw back in. There is also a post in archives about how to do. John

If it is a big enough emergency, you would be surprised at what you can fit through.

Hi there,

Wondering how you got the window installed back in the frame? We have a 2013 Montana 3582 with exactly the same problem.
