Electronic Entry Door Lock

Has anyone put an electronic entry door lock on and if so what brand and how has it functioned. Looking to put one on and looking for some input on brand and quality. Thanks

There are two main ones that I know of: Bauer and RV Lock. Both are direct replacement for the standard door latch. RV Lock offers, and I think come with some upgrade kits, Key FOBs. We've had the RV Lock with Key Fobs for 4 1/2 years. Only complaint, there isn't much range on the Key FOBs, but maybe the newer ones work better, but still better than trying to hit the key hole in the dark.

we have one on ours can't remember the brand . It takes triple a batteries on the part that goes on the door and they do not last very long at all. we don't use it much the only time we lock the door is going down the road.

Had three RV locks, one even installed by Lippert techs because they thought I was doing something wrong. Longest one lasted for us was three weeks before it quit working. We're done. Many have had good luck with them, but we sure didn't.

Don't know about Bauer, but DO NOT go with RV Lock. They've a only a 30 day warranty and will have problems at any time.

We have had two RV Locks. Both worked great. We really like the convenience.

I've had the Bauer for two years or so. I've had it replaced 3 times so far. It's really handy and one of those things I don't want to live without but always make sure I have the key so I can get in when it dies again.

Got the RV Lock about 6 months ago and all's good. Quite happy with it.

Same as DQD.....we are on our 3rd replacement and we use it just as a regular lock as the mini motor quit...Lippert even gave us a new one at the Quartzsite show two years ago, still no luck.
