Carl both time it was because of the slope and that the system in auto dips the front down. Manual level worked just fine, just not as fun as "puts the button".

Our Montana came from the factory with the Lippert 6 point system and I have had one or more wheels off the ground occasionally. Never had a problem until this last trip when the front and mid jacks on the door side started leaking oil. They never failed to work; just made a mess. Had them replaced under the extended warranty and all seems fine now. Wouldn't leave home without it.

Have had mine extended to the limit as well as close to limit. Those four skinny rear levelers are just that real skinny. And they are aluminum. I would hope that aircraft aluminum was used...but still isn't steel. They were made such as they are for weight reasons, lighter system...more length and bling in the trailer. Just my opinion, thinking with a bean counter hat on. John
