What Insurance Co.are you using for your 5th Wheel

Hi all,
Picking up our new 5th on Saturday and wondering what everyone is using for insurance? We currently have Blue Sky for our TT and we are getting a quote from them but wanted to get the thoughts/suggestions from you all on a really good company.

Thanks!

When we were full time and without a stick house we had Progressive. I wanted a good strong full time policy with protection. When we purchased another home and went part time Progressive changed our policy but were really high. Started getting quotes and ended up with Farmers at almost 40% less than Progressive.

We also full time and use the Miller agency, one of the ones recommended by Escapee's. They put us with Allied. Better coverage and pricing than we had with Blue Sky, but a lot depends on the state your in.

Progressive, with five year replacement and disappearing deductible. When we sideswiped a utility pole, coverage was complete with $0 deductible. Happy with the coverage and the service and have the same on the boat as well.

National General thru Good Sam. Not the cheapest maybe but excellent claim service.

Thanks for the input folks! Received several quotes today,

Progressive was pretty good but actually the best rate for comparable policies came from Allstate. The last time I was looking for TT coverage they were about twice as much as Blue Sky. Go figure..

We had Farmers but have switched to GEICO and have had good luck with them and their rates were lower for us. We have the Monte, both vehicles and a trailer we use for hauling both in the city and at the farm.

Blue Sky since Progressive wouldn't insure the F-450. Received a very small bump in price with this years renewal. I'll be sticking with them for the next year at least.

best suggestion would be just start calling around and comparing your current policy with some of these companies, they all are good companines. and remember costs vary with your location, we are 'south dakota' residents.

we use national interstate.

We have Liberty Mutual on all our vehicles. Hope we never need it for the RV. Don't have complete replacement value on the RV as it would probably be very expensive if offered. We only part time in RV.

Had State Farm for 10 yrs on SOB and in Aug bought Monty and went with Good Sam (Nat'l Gen.) and saved $600. Pays to shop around. Stayed with State Farm on home & vehicles...cheaper than GS.
