TV mounting in my Montana
I got a P/M asking about ideas on mounting the flat screen TV's, I thought I would post what I did and it may help others, what I did was a little overboard, as with most of the 'Rube Goldburg' things I do, but bits and pieces of it may help.
Also others can chime in on their mods of the flat screen installs, I have seen many good ones here.
I suggest getting the atriculating arm from Amazon, they have good choices and reasonable pricing.

Not sure I'd call it a Rube Goldberg since you don't have enough wasted stuff sticking around or out, but it's definitely very well thought out and engineered (aka, "a lot of work". I like the way your photograph things as you go.
One of these days when I get rid of the heavy, ancient glass tubes in my rig, I'll have to work on something simpler since I am not as technically inclined (no welding, no torching, no riveting). I'm strictly a cut and screwdrive kind of guy.

Thanks Art. There are many simpler ways of doing it, but I wanted room for a printer, paper and other 'stuff' behind there.
I think Michael and Kat did theirs a nice easy way, I was hoping more folks would jump in there with their TV mod.

Mine was/is a very simple install.
1. Remove old tv
2. Trim off the 1/4 round bottom tv support leaveing 3 inches at back of face.
3. Set flat screen tv on the 3 inch base left from original suport.
4. Put a strip of velcro on both sides of tv and back sides of door.
5. Cut a tim strip above of tv and paint black.
We can remove tv for stick and brick home if needed, it is a moniter/tv i bought while living in Canada.
This has worked for me because tv was same width of original hole, but did need about 1-1/2" tim to fill in top space.
Well Ozz, I put in a wireless printer behind tv too.

Thanks to everyone--I got this started--and now I will get started! Lots of great ideas. The access holes will be required to get mine mounted and I have lots of ideas of how to make them "disappear". Great ideas and GREAT Looking results. We are on the road and will not hit home for a month or more--then get started.
