Wingfoot National field manager

I dug up Dick Anderson's contact information and sent him a request to tell us what is causing the wear on the tires.
They call his division 'Wingfoot' for the Goodyear brand. ???
We shall see.
I sent the same letter to him.

Ozz, the "Winged Foot" has been a Goodyear trade mark for many many years. This is from 1919:

Just south of Akron, Ohio, where Goodyear's Corporate HQ are, there is a lake called Wingfoot Lake. On the east bank of that lake is a huge wooden hanger. That is where Goodyear builds their blimps. You drive back a county road off State Route 43. As you approach the place you would swear that you are driving back into the 1920's. It's not open to the public, but you can see it all from the county road and there is a small parking area to watch whatever activity there might be. Goodyear regularly gives blimp rides to their corporate guests.
