jacks sliding down a little??
My Monty has been winterized and parked at the storage lot since Mid October. I check on it every 3-4 weeks. Today, I went to perform some maintenance and took a freshly charged battery with me.
I noticed when I arrived at the lot that the 4 rear LCI Level-UP jacks were down a little. From 1-5" depending on the jack. The LCI control panel said jacks down, I retracted the rear jacks and no issues. Also no leaks anywhere I could see. I went ahead and auto leveled and that worked fine. So should I worry about this? I've left the RV level for now and I'll check on it next week.
2nd question, I extended all the slides to check on the inside. It was cold, about 40 deg F and overnight it had been at freezing. The slides extended slower than in the summer as I would expect.
However, when I got ready to leave and retracted all the slides, the system stopped half way on retracting the large kitchen table and couch slide. I figured it was the auto reset breaker. I waited 30 seconds and tried again and it completed the retraction.
I know it draws more amps when it's cold, but I've just never had this issue.
Any advice?

My experience, slides move slower in the cold, battery likely not fully charged as well. I sit in Florida for five months each winter, my levelers have never moved from my initial level. Interesting all four were down, but not the front. Maybe a call to Lippert?

Is this what you said ... I unhooked my truck from my fiver a few months back. When i checked on it today, the 4 rear jacks had dropped a few inches from being retracted ... I brought the dropped ones back up and then did an autolevel and left. If that is the story ... they should not have dropped on their own. You have a slow leak internally in the system somewhere as you said you saw no external leaks. There is a screw on the solenoid valves that allows you to run your legs manually ... perhaps one is not seated completely. Read the manual for location as to this possibility.

Ours has been winterized since mid October as well, sits outside in this cold north and our 4 rear jacks are still snugged up where they were left in October. I would agree with a leak somewhere.

Yes that's right. I asked my dealer to check those screws after the National Rally last fall, he said he did. I'll look at the doc you referenced to see if I can detect anything before I call LCI.
Thanks,
Jim A

Is it possible that you have a leak in one of the lines that run through the belly and can't be seen without dropping the belly?

The odd thing is it will go for 2-3 months without an issues, then in month 4 it moves a few inches. Hardly worth dropping the belly for that. Over the years I've found a bubble of oil on the bottom of the manual operation valve, but when I cleaned it off, it didn't reform for a long time, weeks in fact. Never seen any oil puddle anywhere. I'll call LCI.

Hi
Diselguy has it nailed.
I recently had the experience of helping a fellow out that had been sitting half a day because he couldn’t retract his leveling jacks on a class A coach. The solenoids were all located in the very front of the RV. He was amazed at how easy it was to get going once you knew a little about the systems.
If all of your release handle on the solenoid valves are tight then you have an internal leak somewhere.

I have a similar problem only the front two legs retract a couple of inches. When hauling the one or both of the front two will drop a little. Any thoughts?

I would suspect air in the line.

Hello, 2 of mine would creep down about 1" every 2 or 3 weeks, dealer replaced them, said the inner seal was leaking, but not dripping on the ground, it was internal. Everything is good now. Good luck.
