Mount Shasta City, CA

Downtown on Tuesday, 7 Sept, around 3:30 PM. You have a MOC sticker on the front of your rig. I flashed but could not see your number. Looked like a fairly new rig. Can't recall the truck brand or even the color now. I was in my truck without the rig. We are at the downtown KOA until Friday, Drop by if in the area......Phil

He's probably on the road right now, most likely he'll respond tonight.

Phil,
I wish I had remembered you were in town. Actually I thought you'd already been there and moved on. We were passing thru town around noon or oneish. We stopped and had Chinese food. I called Don and Claudia to join us but Don was still out camp hosting and Claudia was in the midst of chores.

We drove downtown to get back on the freeway. We turned off of main street at the old RR depot/hamburger joint. Sorry we missed you. Wow! Was it a nice day there.

Travel safely,
Dennis

Dennis, we just arrived here yesterday and leaving Friday. Did the caverns today and will do the mountain tomorrow, not climbing it just driving the scenic loop or route or something like that.

Phil,
Another short drive, if you haven't already taken it is to the little lake just south of Lake Siskiyou. Not too long after you cross the dam take the road to the top of the mountain..... it is about 7 miles. Nice little lake. No services or commercial enterprises of any kind. Just a pretty little lake at the top of a mountain.

Again sorry we missed you.

Keep on RVing and having fun.
Dennis
