IRC on older (2006) Montana

Bought an older Montana in Florida. We use it two months in the winter and store it in Florida. We live in NC so we don't have a truck. The place we store sets it up when we go down and puts it back in storage when we leave. I have DL the Montana manual but there is no user manual for the specific model so, I have many questions. Such as, how to determine if it has IRC?
Any help or a source for info is appreciated.

We also have a 2006 3650RK with the owners manual. What model do you have?

If you are talking room temps, probably not. Ours has one thermostat only. It is located at the bottom of the bedroom stairs.

Our 2010 only had one thermostat with a temp sensor in the bedroom for the AC. The new 2017 has two.

I think he may be referring to the ability to operate the slides independent of one another.

The presence or not and location of the room control valves on the hydraulic system depend on the year of the Montana. Newer models have an access panel for the Level up and usually the knobs to close a hydraulic line. Some earlier years used knobs on the hydraulic manifold. Many others had no controls.

It helps tremendously to know the year and model on the RV when asking questions. We now know the model but what year is it?

Hoy old newbie, you need to quit this guessing game and ask a question we can understand. There should be a control center on the street side with the knobs to select which slide moves when the pump is activated. Better yet ask the people that sets up the rig for you. They should know.

I missed the 2006 in the title. If there are controls they will be on the hydraulic manifold in the front storage area. Some models in that time frame had the controls, others did not. Some members have added valves to those year rigs. Search the files and somewhere around 2007 - 2009 and should be there. The Google Search option is much better than the stock forum search engine.

Here's a shot of my manual controllers on my old Montana about your year. (3 round knobs on manifold above reservoir) Don't look for the solenoid valves on the back wall on your unit ... I added those ... they are 12 VDC solenoids so I didn't have to twist the manuals valves ... I just flipped a switch inside my fiver.
These shut off valves will stop each slide individually, but will not alter the sequence that the slides go out. Our hyd systems are open loop (all cylinders hooked together) The pump runs one way to extend the slides and the opposite way to retract. The slide with the least resistance moves first, then the next least resistance next, so on. I know you want all info you can get, but since someone else does all your setup and you have no truck, this seems rather inconsequential.

They are more accurately called "blocking valves" in the normally open application. They just block the flow of oil to the extend side of a given slide cylinder when energized. Here's a photo I posted years ago.

Thanks for all the replies. The lack of information was because I was (am) ignorant about the fifth wheel.
I have found the Lippert site online and I think I can the info I need directly from them.

Again, Thanks to all.

I installed the IRC on my 2004 3280.Got the contol block off ebay.Mounted it on the wall under the control switch.Had 3 hydraulic hoses made up and ran them inside the wall to the hydraulic pump.It is really nice having it inside.I don't know how to post pictures so can't help you there.
