Newbies, some good advice

I started new to 5th wheels, as we had a travel trailer a few month's ago, so I am a newbie myself.
Get yourself an air ride hitch, every time I look into the rear view mirror, and see the floating action of the Two air bags in my hitch, it brings a smile to my face. The floating action when we hit washboard roads, bumps in the highway is super! There are some poor roads out there as many of you know. Mine is a Husky, or Valley, with air bags. It is built like an Anvil. I have a slider, which I haven't had to use yet with the improved front cut away cap of the '07 Monte.
Tire pressure indicator stem caps.
It is so nice just to walk around the truck and trailer and glance down at the tires to see the pressure has not fallen in the tires.
Real piece of mind. Banging with a hammer is less than accurate, and using a tire gauge is rather time consuming with 8 tires.
I even use one on my air ride pin box air attachment.
Air bags for the truck. I have them and love them. No more standing back and looking at a sagging rear end...(good to see the truck level as well ). The Firestone air bags serve a dual purpose, overloads, as well as leveling your unit.
12 Volt Air compressor on board. I have a Viair 450C, expensive, but in my opinion, the best made. You can get a nice knock off from Harbor Freight that will serve you nicely. I would hard wire and pipe it up with an air chuck at the rear bumper, where I have mine.
However, it will work nicely as the portable unit it comes out as.
I'm into our adventure at around 2,000 miles and all these systems have made our trip enjoyable. We are in Flagstaff Az. now, at a nice RV Park, J and H, we will be staying here until after the weekend, as Sedona is booked up. We will take the truck up there to check it out.
Any questions, Fire away!!!!!!
I'll post some pictures;

Great advice Ozz, all of it. The pix are good too. If I had known how much difference the air ride hitch made when I was negotiating for the trailer, it would have been in on the deal. Thanks.

Orv,

You won't be sorry. I bought a set for the Monty and TV based on Ozz's recommendation and they are a slick addition.

Ozz,
I am going to go broke trying to keep up with you. LOL! Will be on the lookout for the pressure caps as well.
