2009 Montan 3400RL/2013 Chevy 2500HD
This is our first RV of any kind. We sold our house intending on moving to Arizona to live with our oldest daughter at her and her family's invitation. Two weeks after we sold our home, the invitation went away "due to the economic situation not being what we thought it would be." We now live in our Montana full time, and it's been quite an adjustment. I like the fact we can move all over when we want and aren't tied down. Currently we live in South Prairie, WA.
We've learned a LOT about living in an RV, and love the sense of community where we live. Yeah, there's the ignoble and unfriendly, but they are the minimal. Most people are social and really nice.
I'm glad for this site, because maybe I know something someone else doesn't, and I can almost guarantee someone knows something I don't. I am in receiving mode informationally speaking, so thank you for adding me!!

I think you were on the receiving end of good luck when the invite went away and are now living fulltime in the montana. You might not have gotten the gift of total freedom from the go go world that is today. Be open and you will find it grows on you very quickly and you get comfortable in the reduced space. We miss having a garden, but have a portable container garden that travels with us. Welcome and enjoy. John

Welcome to the MOC!
Look at the change of plans as a gift for you as you are more in control of your own destiny.
Full timing is an adjustment but if both of you are on the same page it will be more like an adventure. Best of luck to you!

Thanks, John. We container garden as well. Doesn't travel with us since we are typically stationary. I do vegetables, and my wife does flowers. And of course I have an Oncidium Shari Baby orchid, a remnant of the green house and 50 something orchids I had when we had our house. And I really don't like Arizona anyway. As such we are 18 miles from the Carbon River Trailhead to Mount Rainier

Welcome. We love our 2006 3400RL and have been full timing for almost 6 years. I believe things happen for a reason and hopefully you will embrace this new adventure. Good luck to you!

Welcome to the MOC from Colorado. Our first Montana was a 3400. We loved it. Every time a door closes, a new one opens. Do you plan on traveling or staying stationary? Regional rallies are a great way to meet fellow MOCers.
