I replaced mine this spring as it was cracked apparently I didn't get enough antifreeze in that area or condensation formed and cracked the bottom of the faucet. It was pretty easy just remove the cover closest to the faucet and mine was right there. Open the low point drains and run all the water back out of the lines and you wont get too much water on the floor while you are taking the faucet apart. If your faucet is OK you may not have to remove the water lines. Just reach under there with a pair of channel lock pliers and remove the plastic nuts that hold the faucet down to the tub and add a dab of silicone around it and re tighten the faucet to the tub again. You need a square bit to remove the plastic cover that hides the pluming or a good phillips may work.

I found earlier this season mine was leaking around the faucet as well. If the shower head was directed to the corner of the shower where the faucet was located water would run under the faucet and out the holes in the tub. I removed the faucet added silicone around the holes and that took care of the problem for me.

Has anyone found a replacement for the shower fixture at a Home Center? I don't mean a cheap plastic unit but a GOOD one handle model. I have replaced the kitchen and bath units already.
