Beware of email scam attempt

I just got a scam attempt, they wanted me to open an attachment and probably send them my account information, pretending to be my bank
I sent it to my real bank under a fraud alert.
Chase's email is .com, not .net
They just don't know what a suspicious person I am...

Good catch Ozz and thanks for passing it on. The internet is a wonderful resource but there are some really bad hombres out there constantly trying to separate you from your money. Financial institutions will NEVER ask for your banking information ... why should they? They already have it!

I had a similar scam post using B Of A, the thing that tipped me off was they asked what my fathers maiden name was.

Jim,
Folks will try anything! You really have to keep your eyes open. I am suspicious of just about everything! We get these things from time to time and I usually just delete them. I guess I should be forwarding them to the appropriate facility. Thanks for sharing.
