The Weather Just Won't Cooperate!!!
Normally it should be 50 degrees plus around here, last night 9 degrees and more snow. They are saying that we are having the cold Spring in a 100 years. At this rate the snow should be gone by Memorial Day!

Look at it this way ... any early bugs that popped out to pester ya this summer will have to rely on the next generation to get the job done.

We had a trip planned thru the south and back thru the midwest starting about April 15th. Due to all the bad weather and flooding we've decided to put the trip off again for the second straight year. Took the same trip in 2012 leaving on March 15th and had good weather. Global warming is screwing up our travel plans.

Up in Saskatchewan, Canada our daytime highs are not even getting up to our normal night time lows. -14C (6.8F) tonight with a high tomorrow of -4C (24.8F) They are also forecasting 1 to 2.5 inches of snow for Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. Where is spring?

It’s pretty cold in Ontario as well! We got home from Florida a week and a half ago. We would have stayed longer if it were not for the fact that we bought our Monty last April 10 and had to take it in for warranty work. Nothing major, just a bunch of minor stuff. Just hoping it warms up soon so we can do some yard work before heading out on our next trip.

Last year when we got back from Florida in early April, it was not cold, but it was wet. I rained a lot in April and kept raining most of the next few months! We did not have to winterize our trailer when we got back from Florida last year, but we sure did this year.
In Florida and at home, February was warmer than usual, and March (and now April, too) colder than normal.

Watching NA$CAR yesterday - colder at Texas Speedway near Ft Worth (34*F) then Upstate NY near Saratoga (39*F)
I have a bunch of upgrades and maintenance to do on the 5er, the TV and S&B outside spring cleanup but when it doesn't at least get into the 50's, not much fun.

I am getting desperate now. We normally leave on April 30th and this year I haven't even got into the trailer yet. Can I cycle the hydraulics at 40 to 45 degrees with out damage to the system?

yes, you can even camp in the cold weather. our fall camping trips have had snow and temps below 20F

This sounds like a joke? Your hydraulics will work a lot colder than that.

Some of our best camping is tied to elk hunting in single digit weather. All your hydraulics will handle single digits and 40-50 should not be a question. AZ typically sees 40 degree temp swings each day so 5 at night will turn into 40+ once the sun is out.
