Tank dump lines on HC 381TH
I was under the unit today and took this picture to show how the black tank and gray tank lines come out from under the belly of the beast. As you can clearly see the lines come out almost together. It would have been extremely easy to have tied the lines together so you would be able to dump ALL the tanks thru one hose connection!!! At the very least they could have run BOTH lines toward the back and had them side by side for easy swapping of the hose from one to the other. But oh no Keystone in their infinite wisdom ran one line to behind the rear tire (remember this is a triple axle trailer) and the other line in front of the front tire!!! The two outlets are about 10' apart!!! That means when you pull up to a dump station you have to first dump the black tank then back up, reattach the hose to the gray tank and dump it!!!! This makes absolutely no sense to me. Can anyone on this forum give me a good reason why they would do this? Not to mention how they just left the expanding foam mess. I mean how hard is it to take a piece of cardboard and smooth that foam down while it is still wet?
