Do new montana's come with metal valve stems?

Will take delivery of a new Montana 3790RD in a few weeks. Super excited about it. Quick question. I want metal valve stems for my TPMS. Do they come with metal or will I need to get the dealer to fit them?
Thanks
Chris

Not sure about all Montanas, but we ordered out 2017 with the g614 option and we're pleasantly surprised to see metal valve stems when doing the PDI.

My 2015 3790RD came with metal valve stems and I noticed that the two Montanas at the local RV show had metal valve stems.

I believe if you order the G614's, they do. Now that they come standard with the G series tires, I would bet they all do, since they are 110 psi tires.

If the unit comes with G614s, then the valve stems will be metal. If it comes with "E" rated tires, then the valve stems will likely be rubber. Rubber valve stems are rated up to 80 psi which is max pressure for "E" rated tires. Anything above 80 psi has to have metal ones.

My 2017 3710 came with E rated china bombs. It did come with very good metal valve stems however.

I already replaced the tires with F rates Carlisle ST's. Wal0Mart had a good deal on a fresh ones.

If your new Montana comes with E rated ST tires it would be very wise to replace them with a good G rated tire before you join the very long list of members here that have had one or more tire failures sometimes doing several thousand dollars damage to your beautiful new camper. They all thought if they kept the tires probably inflated and didn't run over 62 MPH or some other magic speed they would be all right only to wind up on the side of the road with a blown tire and damaged camper.

Fred-- Did you say you have E rated tires on your new rig? Are you sure of that? I thought the new Montana's were coming out with G rated tires now!
