Question No Hot Water

A neighbor in our Palm Springs park said: Their hot water was working fine on their Montana. Now they have zero flow from the hot water side. Any ideas why the hot water flow would stop?

Possibly they may have closed the water heater bypass valve without realizing it.

No water flow at all? Or no hot water?
Have read before that some water heaters have a check valve on the hot water outlet. If so, that could have stuck closed. That would stop all flow.

Switch in bypass should allow flow, albeit cold water.

The check valve is usually what goes bad when you get no flow on the hot water side.

In our park here in florida we will get zero water flow as the water regulator will get clogged with green crap from the park water supply. Clean out the regulator, water flow returns.

Thanks for the information. I'll check with them to see about their valves. Their cold water works fine just no flow with the hot water. We have had our 2955rl for 12 years and never had that problem. Enjoy your trips.

That valve is on the back side of the tank and getting to it may be serious fun depending on their floor plan. I think they plumbed ours before assembling the kitchen and cabinets.
