NASCAR Headsets

We are heading to the Dover race after the fall rally. We have been to one race many years ago and had hearing protection but not the radio head sets. I think this time we want the radio headsets that also include an intercom.

I have a couple questions for those that have been to races before.

Should we go on line and reserve/pay for headsets, or just wait until we get to the track?

Do we have to rent them each day or can we keep them for all three races? One rental fee or three?

Any particular type or option I should look for?

If you are going for all three races it shouldn't be a problem just picking them up before the Truck Race. On the other hand, the Racing Electronics website says you can save if you reserve online. I'm not sure about your other questions since we bought ours from Racing Electronics several years ago.

Last time we went to Dover the rental was good for all three days. We did go through a lot of batteries. They will give you extra batteries but we bought extra(AAA if I remember)

Don't know where where you are staying, but the Mall parking lot campground is nice. Hard surface(nice if it's wet), close to track and close to Mall if you need anything.
