New Rig, Can't Go

We just purchased an 04 Mountaineer 298. It is our first camper and we can't wait to use it. Our plans are to haul it to water ski tournaments, the beach, and other family excursions. The BIG problem is my wife seems to be highly sensitive to the formaldehyde out-gasing from the new unit. Every time she spends more than 30 minutes in the trailer, she has a reaction and becomes ill for a few days. Everybody said to air it out, but at this rate, it may take up to 2 years. It is killing my wife to look out and see this beautiful 5th wheel in the driveway and not be able to use it.
