Cap fading
Hi All , we have a 2014 Montana High Country, It has the grey exterior and noticed this past supper the front cap appears to be fading. I was able to wash the unit that did help bring back some color but still not the same as when it was new, Are there any tips to keeping this from happening? and what would you recommend for waxing?

Since it is a 2014 and still under warranty, I'd be contacting Keystone Customer Service and see what they say. By doing so, you have opened a file on your unit and they can tell you to take it to your dealer or bring it to Goshen for them to check it also. Let us know what you come up with!

I was a huge NuFinish fan and tried to wax the entire Montana twice a year, but the cap three times a year. My 2014 tan finish isn't fading and the decals are staying good, as they should.
The couple I paid to wax it up north this fall insisted on using McGuires wax. It has been on there for over 2 months in some pretty bad weather, plus the 1200 miles trip down to Florida. Bugs on the front cap just washed right off and the wax still seems to be on there. I may be switching.

We use nufinish for years and our units have always looked good. The boat looks brand new after five years. But it is not a wax, it is a polish and does not do much for faded finishes.

Always been a NuFinish fan as well, never any fading problem after 3 or 4 years of use but perhaps this spring it's time to try McGuires?
Hopefully Keystone has some answers, keep us posted.

I also use Nufinish and have had great luck. I usually try and wax the cap every time I go on a new trip and it really helps with the bugs coming off. It does not take that long to wax the front cap.
