We had one in our ceiling of all places last winter. After setting bait and traps in places where we figured it was getting in, it finally went away. When we turned on our bedroom A/C for the first time in 2012, found out it had chewed through a wire.

Dave got under the rig and sprayed in expanding foam in all possible openings and we stuffed steel wool in other places the foam wouldn't work.

So far we're good this year, but it's early days yet. . .
