The first thing that I did when we got our Montana was replace the unbelievably loud Flojet with a Shurflo 4008. The difference was huge. Then I added, like many others, the extra flexible hoses which made it better still.

I also had tried the flexible hoses on the Flojet before replacing it, but it was still extremely loud.

Why is the noisy water pump worse on Montana's? I've never had a water pump this loud on any of the SOB'S I've owned before. The wife and I just except it, not the end of the world. Just makes no sense

My original pump is actually fairly quiet.

I have always changed our pumps out and did the rubber base and flex hose. In our new 3731, i wish i could even see mine, its behind this mess. It is at the dealer as of today to clean this up and few other "minor" warranty issues
