Parkview CG, Fort Stockton, TX

Wow! We just wanted an inexpensive place for the night, so we looked in the Passport America book and found Parkview CG here in Ft. Stockton. Last time through we stayed at the former KOA, Ft Stockton CG. Didn't think it was all that great.

Well, Parkview was only $11 for the night but we wanted cable so we splurged for $13 for the night.

Now this CG is dirt on the sites. Fairly level, but still dirt. The sites are very close together. If I were to open the dinning room window, I could spit on the next trailer. (No! I would not do that!)

We pulled into the space. DW lined me up so that the TOAD was not in the driving area. I got out and checked the area and decided she did a good job. Went back in, hit the levelers, put out the slides and stepped outside.

DW made a coment. "Gee we have the "deluxe" site, the only one with a patio!" Seems there was once a cement pad for something on our curb side and it now becomes our patio. There is no other patio in this park.

Are we lucky or what?

Edited: p.s., Oh! The sewer line is protected from debris and odors by a 2 liter Pepsi bottle with the bottom cut of and placed over the opening.

Hey! It's not Wally-world, and has 50 amp and water also.
