Phil - When at the Peace River CG, you might want to try panning for sharks' teeth for something different. We did it a couple of years ago and got some nice ones. The CG store has the equipment - Jim

Southern Comfort RV Park (Fla City) is very convenient to both. We stayed there for a few days last year. Adequate for short period as infrastructure is old. Lot of Snowbirds there. Also, very near there is a Fla State Park, Everglades, but you will probably have to dry camp. Otherwise, there are a couple around Fort Myers.
Regards

There is also one right in Miami called Larry & Penny that friends have stayed at several times and enjoyed the closeness to everything they wanted to see and do in that area.

Phil,
There is a military CG in the keys, Marathon and Sigbee, but I'm not sure of the availability. Reservations are accepted at Marathon, but they only have 4 sites. (Yuk) Sigbee has 90 full hook-ups with 310 overflow (no hook-ups) but only active duty can make reservations.
Just in case you want to haul down that way.

Phil,
Are you and Cathy at Peace River right now? Reason I am asking we're planning on being there for Thanksgiving.
