We stay in Dunedin, which is just north of Clearwater beach on the Gulf side. We love it there, been going for the last 13 years. The campgrounds is called Dunedin RV Resort its on alternate 19 North.
Hope this helps

Like Driftwoodgal said, there are several parks down here the Naples/Ft. Myers area. We are located in Naples about 6 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in an older very nice park. Rates in this park are rather pricey in Jan,Feb, and March, due to the close proximity to the gulf. On the other hand, the temps down here are really nice. Highs, in the mid to upper seventies on most days. Tonight is going to be cool, but starting tomorrow the temp goes back up into the seventies and eighties.
