We have done 2 trips from coast to coast and 26,000 miles later I am so amazed at what America has. I would love to see some of it again. Washington DC is outstanding. I find New Your interesting but you need to spend more than a couple days there for sure. Florida was hot and humid when we went to Disney World. We went to New Hampshire and got some real maple syrup YUMMY. Currently on a trip to see my Mom in Iowa. we live in California

I am goal oriented. So when we retired 12 years ago our goal was to see every U.S. National Park. We finished up 2 years ago. Of course we didn't get to the one in Hawaii or 5 of the 7 in Alaska, as there are no roads!!!
There were something like 47-50 back when I started. Now they include Nat. HIstoric Parks, National Monuments and NAtional Recreation area to the count of something like 450 parks. I don't think I will make it to all of them!
