Mike,

Welcome to the forum and we'd be thrilled to have you join us in Mt. Shasta. If you haven't done so already, check under the North American MOC/Western Region, Join Us in Northern CA in May 2005 for information on making a reservation. I'll send you an e-mail through the forum with some other comments.

Congratulations on your new rig. Welcome to the MOC Forum. This is the place where it all hangs out, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Great arena for problem solving. Every once in a while we actually know what we are talkin' about.

Welcome Mike - We know Rio Vista as we use to go through there all the time when we were traveling to San Rafael from Southern California taking Route 12. We will look forward to seeing you in May.

Congratulations on the new Montana, and welcome to the forum. We won't be able to make the Mt. Shasta weekend, but are hoping to be at the rally in NV in October. Hope to meet you down the road somewhere. Happy travels.

Mike & Amy, Welcome to the MOC forum. We won't have the opportunity to meet you in Shasta, but perhaps at one of the other future rallies. Congrats on your new unit. May you enjoy many happy miles.

Hey Mike..... welcome to the MOC and we look fowards to meeting you at Shasta. Keep an eye on the category "North American MOC / Western Region" as there will be some posts there about the trip.

Again, welcome. This is a great group of people and you will not only learn much about your Montana, but you'll make some lifetime friends.

Congrats Mike and Amy on your new Montana. We just purchased a 2980RL in January. We just got back from our second trip, this one was to your neighborhood, Delta Bay Club, Iselton. We now know two things after the rain and wind, it doesn't leak (yeah!!) and its stable in the wind!! What a test that weather was!!! We're going to Shasta in May, hope to see you there.

In September we purchased our first RV, 2003 315TT. It's been sitting since then. We have purchased lots of stuff to outfit it over the winter. We are moving it to North Central PA the second week of May. We are just dying to use it. New to this stuff. We rented a class c last summer for 2 weeks and had a blast. The tag along seemed to make sense. I'll let you folks know.

Welcome, mikeguscott, to the forum. Keep us posted on your travel experiences - it's hard to wait to get on the road. We took our first trip of the season the first part of this month, but not scheduled to go out again until the end of April. From then on, the Montana will be covering a lot of miles! Safe travels.

Welcome to both of you to MOC! Mike Johnson, congratulations on picking up your Montana, and I know exactly how you feel. I picked mine up just over two weeks ago and simply cannot stop remarking about how big it is!

BIG???
If you only knew just how big. You are probably thinking you bought a 32' rig.....WRONG!!!
Here's a little secret, that 32 foot, as published in the brochure and on the website, rig is actually 34 feet 3 inches. After kicking around in ours for over a year we did put the measuring tape to it. From the tip of the nose to the ladder our 2955RL grew 2 feet 3 inches. Now you gotta keep this our secret. If Montana ever finds out they gave us a 34' 3" instead of 32' they'd probably want to charge us extra.

Welcome aboard and congratulations! The 2955RL is a beautiful rig and a popular choice among our members. Hope to see you at the October rally.
