You will enjoy the trip up there but since you have to be there for June 1, there is the possibility of having to tow the Monty through some snow. We had left Saskatoon, Sk. the third week in May 2009 to go to Anchorage and ran into snow in northern BC. Although there was about 6 inches of snow on the road, we never had to use 4X4, just slower traveling. PM or email me and I'll try my best to help you out as we've been to Fairbanks twice and also the trip to Anchorage and Homer, Ak.
