Ceiling fan
We had a problem with the ceiling fan. I started it up there was a rubbing sound. One of the blade screws had fallen out and the blade turned a bit and was rubbing. When we get home I am going to remove a lock tight the screws. Anyone with a ceiling fan should check the blade mounting screws.

Ours came loose and then broke the metal piece the wooden blade fastens to. When we arrived at home the broken piece and blade were laying on the floor.
The whole fan, motor and all were replaced under warranty. The original was two speed, the replacement is three speed. I guess we came out ahead on the deal...

We lost a screw and had the blade break when I put the slides in. The fan was replaced by the factory and you can be sure the screws are now lock tite in place.

A screw came out of our fan so I tightened it up but it fell out again. After that I used loctite, no problems since then.

Our OEM fan now resides in the dumpster at the Goshen fair grounds. I replaced with a brand new Hunter 44 inch with light fixture and it fits perfectly. All the blade screws go through rubber grommets and I have so far not had any problems with them coming lose. I still check every stop out of habit. It does not hum, it does not scrape and it does not wobble. I have almost forgotten that it is up there. it came with the smaller based candle flame bulbs and I can reduce the wattage if needed. They are just as bright as the old ones. Nice unit...Dave

Been thru this on the 06 4 yrs ago. Tightening the screws should be on one of the items to be checked out when you buy the unit, just like making sure it has FOUR (4) tires instead of three. Haave a Good Day
