3000RK

It would be nice if they made a 3000RK with 3 slides like the 3585SA but in the length of the 3000 RK we all don't want to tow a 38' + unit around the country but the added room would be nice in the width , i hope montana reads this john

I agree with you, would love the 3000RK with 3 slides, without the extra lenght, 35' is already to long for alot of parks.

I agree it would be nice with an extra slide where the recliners are located. I know it would just be a little more space but every inch counts in these.

John,

You are on to something there.. I would buy a 3 slide 3000rk in a heartbeat. A more spacious living room area would be nice.

As I said on another thread, the 2 slides on the 3000RK was the main selling point for us. We had an '03 2955RL before and we were in places that if we'd had 3 slides, we'd not have gotten it in. And 3 slides will be an inconvience on a Copper Canyon Train.

I guess I like it the way it is. There is plenty of room to do anything I'll ever want to do in there. It would also raise the weight some. JMO .

John,
No I don't have the 6000 lb axles I checked, they came out on the 07' built after Nov, is what I was told by Keystone.
But you do what you do, and I'll install new axles when I need to. I don't know why they cheap out from the get go,the 6000's aren't that expensive. I'll probaly put in 7000's when and if I change.

Well now that Lonnie mentioned weight...I think 2 slides are fine. These things are heavy enough already.

I have to agree, I like the 2 slides only, more opportunities to park the rig without
barriers, and the extra weight could be problematic.

Dano and I talked about that possibility awhile back while camping,
got all enthused about it and then thought it through again.
It would be nice, but........ we love it just the way it is. That's why we bought it.
Then I had to go overboard with ideas and decided that a slide going UP would be great!!!
Say in the bedroom.......

oh now my wife tells me she is really in favor of the side up option. That would be quite the sight. Personally I am now in agreement with the 2 slide now that I moved the recliners out in favor of something more comfortable.

Yeah, we took one of the recliners and put it in the brick house and now have 2 small bar stools at the counter. Much more room that way.
