Furnace Problems
We went to the lake last week for our annual music festival with about 25 friends and had a great time.
One night the temp was forecasted to be in the 30's so I tried to turn on the furnace. No response.
I had gas and the water heater and kitchen stoves worked fine.
The Air came on but no furnace noises, fan or anything when I switched to heat.
I used electric heaters and was comfy in the trailer.
I'll take it back to the dealer and see what he finds.

When you say the Air came on, do you mean A/C? Because if air came out of your furnace floor vents, then a fan was running.
If nothing, nada, was coming from the furnace, you might try checking the 12v fuse and the switch on the furnace: it is on the short side where the circuit board goes.
If you have power, then it could be the circuit board, the sail switch, gas valve or ignitor. I posted a pretty detailed post in the past. If anyone is interested, I will dig it up.

The A/C ran normally.
No fan or air through the heater vents.
I called the dealer and asked what i COULD CHECK.
He suggested the electric and fuses.
I reset all breakers and pulled all fuses and nothing was wrong.
Everything in the 5er worked except the furnace.
I took it back to the dealer so I'll wait to see what he finds.

I had basically the same problem. Finally called an RV repairman. There are many many small wires that make everything work, one of our had come off during the last move. He pointed it out to me and I could just barely see it, let alone figure out what it did or where it went. He connected it and all is well.
On edit: The loose wire was in back of the furnace, he found it by removing the large cover in the basement that hides the water pump, rear of the furnace, etc.

Ihad the same problem in the spring. A service man from another companyhappened to be by us. He got in the under belley and fliped a switch on the back of the unit and that took care of it.

Pull the 12 volt fuse to the furnace, also trip the breaker to the A/C unit, then try it.

The only solution for fixing the forum response lag time would be to move it to another server. I experience delayed responses from the forum server daily, sometimes it's so bad I just give up...

I called the RV Service department today and my RV is ready to pick up.
They said DirtDobbers had built nests in the furnace and stopped everything up. After cleaning up the nests all worked well.
I talked to another friend who had dirtdobbers and he put screens over the vents to prevent them from coming in.
I will take off the vent covers and put screens on them.

Good Evening All,
It's been quite a while since I have been on the forum. Finally retired, moved to a new house, and ended up with more honey dos than I could handle. Should have stayed at work. Glad to be back here!
When we purchased our Montana, the dealer placed an insect screen on the outside heat outlet( flue?). I suspect the pesky dirtdobbers came in through there.
