Mountaineer gone?

My local dealer says that the Mountaineer line is being dropped and instead there will be different configurations to the Montana.

Mountaineer is being merged with and continued as High Country.

It is true. the lines are. Montana which is basically the mountaineer but upgraded. The Montana Legacy which is the present Montana with some upgrades. The Big Sky which is a wide body and nothing like the present Big Skies. The High Country which is also a wide body and nothing like the other models. Got it??????? the result is I am not sure what I have..

Better put a two year warranty in play if they want to play with the big boys, Redwood, HR, New Horizons, etc.

This makes no sense, but we are dealing with Keystone. The HC and Mountaineer, share nothing in common, different, frames, axles, wheels, not to mention the HC is designed as a lighter weight 5ver 12,600 on the heaviest with 6 hole wheels, and the Mountaineer is, well it can be a 16,000 rig. Not to mention a lot of different floor plans. HC doesn't have a bunkhouse, of course I don't think the regular Montana has a bunkhouse. The Mountaineer line has (had) all the general floor plans except front bath. Any one want a new Big Sky 382RL, there is one sitting on the Roswell dealer lot here, hasn't had a serious looker in two months its been here.

Just keep hearing reasons to be happy with what we have and just keep adding the mods.

As is my 3850FL.

I *still* can't get over that they offered my floorplan for only one model year. I'm biased, of course, but I thought it one of the best floorplans out there of any brand fifthwheel. I used to dread what Keystone would introduce as an improvement to this floorplan. Now I'm sad that they did away with it altogether. Sure, it means we won't be looking to trade up anytime soon, but darn, I was looking forward to seeing the next improvement.

When they make even slight changes to any floor plan, they change the model number. No big deal.
