Decals on new Montanas

Been browsing the web looking at prices on new Montanas (Lord help me!), specifically the 3582RL. Looks like something I would like, but have not seen one in person yet and can't find one within a close drive.

But something I noticed was two very different decal schemes on them. They were all listed as Montana, not Big Sky, not Mountaineer, not painted, just white Montanas with decals. And yet the decals were nothing alike. Is that due to some option package?

There are four colors possible at this time. Same color as 13, new Oyster color, black and silver full body paint, and black brown And gold full body paint. And yes, that is Montana and not Big Sky.

Thanks for that info, Larry. But I am not sure it answered my question. Here are two examples of the decal difference I was speaking of, both from Camping World web site.

what I thought was standard

much different look

Tried to look at the photos, from your links BB_TX, but, my malware shut em down.

It has long been known that Keystone/Montana changes things all year long. There have been different sets of decals for many years, our 2004 is not the same as some 2004's that came out a few months later.

It is so confusing, I personally have stopped trying to figure it out!

Wow, Carol. That is campingworld.com web site. Guess your malware had a bad experience from CW!

From what I have learned I believe your first link perhaps is an early 2014 model, hence what I refer to as the old graphics. The second link is what I would now refer to as the new standard Montana graphics, oyster, and that unit was probably produced in the last quarter of 2013 or the first quarter of 2014. That's is my understanding and perhaps Hook could clarify.

We paid $58,000 for our 3592RL in Oregon, this is the basic color scheme white with the mountain decals.

"standard graphics" certainly look more modern than the "much different look". My 2013 3800RE has something similar to what you call the standard graphics with the mountains being photo-realistic. If the "much diff look" are what the new graphics are, all I can say is "what utter crap"! Certainly not worthy of being a supposedly higher level product. All this is my own personal opinion of course and if and when I consider another new montana, I would have to order it from the factory WITHOUT any graphics so that I could have decent ones put on by a third party business. Let's compare apples and oranges. The first picture is of an "old" style Montana. It has the white gelcoat exterior. The decals on it were used on models from 2013 to 2014's manufactured up to around September. The second picture shows the "new" 2014 models with the Oyster colored gelcoat (and contrasting borders around every orifice). The decals on it are different. The pictures aren't the best and don't really show the color differences. See one in person and the color difference is obvious.

Yep what DarMar and Carl N Susan said early 2014 model with the white gel-coat and then they went to the new oyster gel-coat and graphics THANK GOD IMO ,I think the white Gel coat is SSSOOOOO played out and it was smart for Montana to change, other SOB's have gotten way better looking than Montana , I think Montana would have lost sales if they did not change

WE prefer the oyster and new graphics to the old as well. In our opinion it was time for a change and change can be good!!!

Thanks for the clarification between "new" 2014 and "old" 2014. Can not tell the difference in color from the pictures. Now I need to see it in person.

When we ordered our new 3610RL last weekend we were told that the only color scheme on the exterior is the oyster with new graphics as the white was phased out. There were some '14's out there before the fall switch over but you would have to hunt them down on the internet.
We were informed during the last week while Sue was asking some additional questions that our unit will be a 2015 model as it was being built after April 1. We were told there are no changes to the '15 3610RL since this was only introduced in January with one exception, that the kitchen chairs are no longer being offered with the striped pattern and will be a solid color with contrasting dots to match the Copper Patina interior.

Same story here as to the newly stamped 2015's coming off after April 1/14. Ours is to be off line April 15th and it will be a 2015 Les, but we ordered our Limestone with leather.

We ordered ours with the copper patina with cloth on the furniture which by what we see maybe the only with fabric in the entire world! Seems all the new models are all coming in with leather even though this is an option. We are just not leather folks (unless we are riding our M/C's....then it is a must!
Either way all the Montana interiors rock!

From the pictures, you are seeing early 14s and new color 14s. The Oyster color with black and gray trim are the new colors. Montes are also available in two different full body paints.

I will order full body paint. I think the new color looks great, but I bought my truck to match! Full color paint will look better I think!

You have brought up a very good point. Just think of how many rv'ers have bought white trucks to match or to decal up to match their 5er. Our truck is a type of slate blue color and will go nicely with the new oyster/grey. It isn't just Keystone of course that is changing colors so it will be interesting to see how the popular white color for trucks now goes. Black anyone, been there done that and it sure is a beauty when clean!
