Slide out pantry HELP
Hi Guys:
We have a problem in our 3800RE. Jars have fallen off the side of the slide out pantry beside our oven and we can not reach them.
HOW do you remove the slide out pantry to get to the items behind and under it.

The best idea is to prevent jars and bottles from falling off the shelves. Here is a posting I made last year about using wire baskets. Yet another member suggest shoe boxes. Perhaps one will work for you.

Not sure how you're is configured. In ours, you take the drawer out under the stove and get under it that way. Drawer under the stove, on ours, comes out by lifting the catch on the right side and pushing the catch down on the left.

Just like most of those extensions, there are release
latches on both sides. When you get everything retrieved,
we use spring bars on both sides of each shelf to stop
losing things. We use the unit for spices. We also had the
face of the unit fall off, had to install additional screws and
also used glue to put it back together.

I had the same problem in our 2013 3625 - a can of clams, a can of spam, and 2 cans of tuna. So, I got out my pickup tool, which is about 2 feet long with a claw on the end that comes out when you press the button on the other end. Push the slide in a bit, go in and grab a lip on a can, pull it to the front and side of the slide opening, reach in and grab the can.

I have a 2012 3625, on the back of the pullout i stapled a screen like used in a window. on the front side is nothing, we haven't had any issues with things falling off...... yet.

Like jimc says you can purchase a set on mechanical fingers at NAPA they are not expensive and are handy for all kinds of things in the Montana like retrieving papers from under the TV in the RE units etc.

I use the clear shoe box storage that you can buy at Wally World or anywhere else storage units are sold. Mine were $1 @ piece. It just does fit, and then fill it in in front with other cans. Oh, yes, I put what can goods we carry in these.
I also bought one from Butch & Susan when we were in Q this year. It works as well and is a very nice fit.  .
So you can choose if you cannot find one or the other.
